MercyMe, the Christian rock band, was traveling in their tour bus when they had an accident. The MercyMe entourage bus collided with a car in Indiana. The passengers in the MercyMe bus were all fine save for some bumps and bruises. The car’s two passengers died. The car’s pregnant driver, Kara Klinker, and suffered a miscarriage.

Out of respect and consternation over the seriousness of the accident, Mercy Me has canceled their concert on Saturday.

What happened in the MercyMe accident? According to the press, the car made a left turn in front of the tour bus. MercyMe’s bus was passing through on a green light.

MercyMe has released a public statement to express their condolences to the dead and sympathy for the injured driver, Kara Klinker, 18, who lost her baby.
