Melissa “Missy” Giove was caught with 200 pounds of marijuana in her truck in NY. Giove is a former mountain biking world champion. Giove, 37, of Chesapeake, Virginia, was charged with conspiracy to possess and distribute more than 100 kg of marijuana. Eric Canori, 30, of Wilton, was with Giove and he was charged with similar offences.

Lae enforcement went to search Giove’s home and seized some more pot from her home near Saratoga Springs, Albany.

Illinois police caught a woman trucker with 220 pounds of marijuana. Officers set up an operation to deliver the pot. They saw Giove driving away with the load. Giove delivered some marijuana to Canori’s home. Giove had pot and $1 million cash in her home.

Giove was a great biker. Giove earned the nickname “The Missile” because of her strong riding style.Giove was world champion in 1997 and 1998. Giove was the US national champion during 1999 – 2001. Giove retired from competitive racing in 2003.

Authorities are still investigating.
