A woman, Ashley Todd, 20, was robbed at an ATM in Bloomfield, Pittsburgh. This is the biggest Pittsburgh news today. Ashley Todd’s robber and assailant maimed/ mutilated her face.

Ashley Todd was robbed at knifepoint on Wed. night, Oct. 22. Todd was at a Citizens Bank near Liberty Avenue and Pearl Street, at around 9 pm.

The robber came along and held Ashley Todd up using his knife. He robbed Todd of $60. The robber became mad when he saw a McCain bumper sticker on the Ashley Todd’s car. The man punched and kicked Todd. Then he used his knife to mutilate Ashley Todd’s face by carving the letter “B” on her face.

Ashley Todd refused medical treatment after her attack. This happened outside the range of the bank’s surveillance cameras. There were no captured images of the robber. Todd described her assailant as being dark skinned, 6 feet 4 inches, and medium build about 200 pounds. He had short, black hair and brown eyes. He was seen wearing a black undershirt, dark jeans and black shoes.

The Obama-Biden campaign released this statement which said “Our thoughts and prayers are with the young woman for her to make a speedy recovery, and we hope that the person who perpetrated this crime is swiftly apprehended and brought to justice.”
