Maya Soetoro-Ng, President Obama’s half-sister, has written a book called “Ladder to the Moon”. Soetoro-Ng’s book is a children’s picture story. Soetoro-Ng’s book is her tribute to her mother, Ann Dunham’s, tradition of storytelling.

Soetoro-Ng is a teacher at a girls’ school in Honolulu. She had campaigned for her brother and spoke at the Democratic National Convention in 2008.
