Maxwell, the R & B singer, had released his last album 8 years ago. Maxwell went into a hiatus but he has returned. Maxwell has returned in a big way. Maxwell has planned BLACKsummers’night, a 3 album trilogy, to be released in the span of 2 years.

Maxwell said he took a break to experience life and be inspired. Maxwell related how he felt he could become a man by going through life.
