Maxine Myers, 82, was discovered dead by police. Myers was declared a victim of a murder. Myers was of Crest Avenue, Leesburg, Florida.

Ms. Myers’ family member called police to request a well being check since Myers could not be contacted. Police found Myers dead on Sunday, Dec. 7, at around 12:15 pm.

Leesburg police, who responded to the call for the check, said that Myer’s vehicle was missing.

Maxine Myers had a 2002 4-door Nissan Sentra, license plate Q 716 CJ, which was missing. Police have not released details on the cause of death and the manner of death of Maxine Myers. The police investigations will continue.
