Matthew Weigman was offered a chance to straighten up his act before he turned 18. Weigman, a blind teen, was a phone hacker who impersonated, committed frauds and did all sorts of imaginable and unimaginable acts using the phone.

Weigman was an addict, a phreaker, who abused the telephone for his personal gratification. Weigman tried to turn over a new leaf but soon reverted back to his comfort zone. When he turned 18, Weigman was tried, convicted and sentenced to 11 years in a federal prison.
