Clyde Ray Spencer was convicted of child molestation almost 20 years ago. Spencer was sentenced for sexually molesting his two children; a son and daughter, Matthew Spencer and Kathryn Tetz.

Matthew Spencer and Kathryn Tetz have testified in a court hearing that their father never molested them. Matthew Spencer made the claim after he was influenced by an insistent sheriff’s detective.

In 2004, Gary Locke, then Governor of Vancouver, Washington, commuted Spencer’s sentence after reviewing the case. Spencer wants his conviction overturned to delete his record.
