Matthew Broderick killed someone in a car accident in 1987. Actually, Broderick killed two people; a mother and daughter pair. Broderick was in Ireland when he had a car accident where two people died.

Matthew Broderick killed Margaret Doherty, 63, and Anna Gallagher, 30, with his BMW when he drove into the wrong lane. Broderick’s BMW collided into Doherty and Gallagher’s Volvo. Gallagher was driving the car.

Broderick allegedly met Martin Doherty, the son and brother of the mother and daughter he killed. Broderick met them in 2003 to help seek closure for Martin Doherty and himself.

What was Matthew Broderick doing in Ireland? Broderick was on vacation in Ireland. Broderick and his then girlfriend, Jennifer Grey, had gone to Ireland for their holiday.

Broderick suffered a fractured leg, fractured ribs, collapsed lung and concussion. Jennifer Grey had minor injuries.

Broderick was convicted of careless driving and fined $175. Broderick said he received therapy to help him get over the accident.

Broderick, the husband of Sarah Jessica Parker, has been the subject of rumors. Matthew Broderick was rumored to be living apart from Sarah Jessica Parker. That is a dismal rumor since the twins certainly need both parents around while growing up.
