Matt Lucas, the actor of the UK TV show Little Britain, is in the spotlight after his former husband, Kevin McGee, committed suicide. Police found McGee hanged in his home, on October 5. McGee may have suffered from depression and other problems before his death.

McGee, 32, married Matt Lucas, 35, in December 2006. Lucas and McGee got divorced recently, about 10 months ago. McGee left behind a suicide note on his Facebook page.

Matt Lucas and David Walliams were booked to make a guest appearance at an awards ceremony in London but Lucas canceled. Lucas has been too upset to make a statement on the passing of his former husband.

Lucas and Walliams are partnered in a new TV show. Lucas has not seen McGee, a Tv producer, since he has been away filming for his new show. Besides TV and movie filming, Matt Lucas is also acting on stage.
