If Mary-Louise Parker is going to leave Weeds, why was a new celebrity, Alanis Morissette, introduced to take care of Parker’s character? Parker is rumored to be eager to quit Weeds after season 6. Parker’s TV character may have delivered her baby so Alanis Morissette’s character may quit the show or remain in her settled role. Morissette’s fans will be on tenderhooks to see if her character will be continued or axed.

Alanis Morissette was signed to act as the obstetrician to care for Parker’s pregnant character. Weeds will air its season 5 beginning June 8, at 10 pm, ET.

Alanis Morissette has been a celebrity guest star in several TV series like “Sex and the City”, “Degrassi: The Next Generation” and “Nip/Tuck”.
