Updated May 24 2009 – Mary Kay Letourneau and her husband, Vili Fualaau, hosted “Hot For Teacher Night”. This event was held at Seattle Bar named “Fuel Sports Eats & Beats”. Fualaau works under the name DJ Headline.

Letourneau served 7 years and 6 months in prison and gave birth to 2 children fathered by Fualaau. His father had helped to raise the kids while she was in prison.

Mary Kay Letourneau & Vili Fualaau: Teacher married student

Mary Kay Letourneau’s story aired on Lifetime. Mary Kay Letourneau was a school teacher who had sex with her 13 year old male student, Vili Fualaau. She became pregnant and had her baby. She was convicted and went to jail in February 26, 1997 for statutory rape. Mary Kay Letourneau was married with 4 children but when all this unraveled, she obtained her divorce.

Mary Kay Letourneau was released in Jan. 1 1998 on good behavior but she violated the terms of her parole. Mary Kay Letourneau was caught with Vili Fualaau on Feb 3, 1998. Police found baby clothes, money and her passport. They discovered Mary Kay Letourneau was pregnant again a second time.

Vili Fualaau’s family was compelled to care for Vili Fualaau’s and Mary Kay Letourneau’s babies while she was imprisoned. The Fualaau family tried to sue Highline School District and the city of Des Moines (Washington) for lost wages, emotional suffering, and caring for Mary Kay Letourneau’s young children.

Mary Kay Letourneau served her sentence and was released in Aug 4, 2004. She waited for 1 more year for Vili Fualaau to turn 21 years old. Vili Fualaau married Mary Kay Letourneau. Since then, Mary Kay Letourneau and Vili Fualaau have almost dropped off the face of earth, without publicity. It is assumed their story had a fairy tale ending.
