Marvin E Schur,93, froze to death at home because his power was cut or reduced. Schur, of Bay City, Michigan, was discovered dead on Jan 17.

The medical examiner who did the autopsy said Schur died a slow and painful death from hypothermia. Schur was found dead by his neighbor, George Pauwels Jr. Bay City Electric Light & Power would review its policies on handling accounts. However, its manager said that he did not think the power company did anything wrong.
