Martin Schur, 93, was a WWII medic. Schur slowly froze to death in his home in Bay City, Michigan. Slowly, facts have emerged about Schur. He was no pauper. Schur left behind an estate that was more than $500,000. Schur bequeathed his entire estate to the local hospital, Bay Medical Center.

Schur’s nephew, William Walworth, said his uncle told him he had over $600,000. Walworth said his Uncle Schur loved Bay City in Michigan.
