June 9 2010 – Brooke Hundley filed a lawsuit to sue ESPN for defamation. Hundley claimed ESPN ruined her reputation by sacking her in their biased reaction.

Hundley claimed ESPN based their decision on one sided statements from Steve Phillips and falsely saying she didn’t co-operate with their investigations.

Hundley said she went to Mrs Phillips’ home to get Steve to stop harassing her. Hundley claimed she cooperated with ESPN.

Brooke Hundley was a former production assistant with ESPN who was paid $10.96 per hour. Hundley claimed ESPN acted maliciously to insulate itself from liability for Phillips’ behavior. Hundley wants in excess of $15,000 from ESPN to compensate her for losing her job, loss of new job opportunities , defamation of her character, negative publicity and harassment from the public due to the public case.

ESPN denied Hundley’s claims and said she allegations were false against ESPN. Hundley didn’t accurately portray the way ESPN handled the issues.

November 12 – The Brooke Hundley’s appearance on Good Morning America video is below. Brooke Hundley claimed she was threatened if she did not consent to what was asked of her. ESPN, Hundley’s former boss, said they had a strong stance against sexual harassment or any kind of workplace discrimination.

Brooke Hundley claimed she consented to appear in public on TV to highlight abuse and share her experiences. Hundley said she was made to concede and she wasn’t in love with anybody in the ESPN staff workforce.

Steve Phillips said Hundley turned erratic and their relationship became sour after he tried to withdraw from their association.

ESPN and ABC are owned by Walt Disney’s conglomerate group of companies.

Updated October 25 2009 – Steve Phillips has been fired by ESPN. The Sports network claimed Phillips’ ability to be an analyst was damaged. May be they meant the public’s opinion of him has changed. ESPN tried to give Phillips a chance but the news media blew up the scandal and the whole world now knows about it.

Is Marni Phillips divorcing Steve Phillips because of Brooke Hundley? Steve Phillips allegedly had a short lived affair with Brooke Hundley. After Phillips broke up with Hundley, she telephoned Mrs Marni Phillips to inform her that she was competing for Steve.

Hundley posed as the high school classmate of Steve Phillips’ son, 16. Hundley wanted to get information about the Phillips family. Hundley wrote a letter to describe personal information on Steve. Hundley told about his birthmarks to prove that she had seen him nude.

Phillips has spoken to police about Hundley. Phillips said he met Hundley this summer, in July 2009. Phillips admitted he had sexual encounters with Hundley. Phillips declined to press charges on Hundley for her actions.

Steve Phillips is the baseball analyst for ESPN. Brooke Hundley is a production assistant. Phillips allegedly has been suspended one week for this incident.

Ms Marni Phillips, 40, is in the process of divorcing Steve Phillips, 46. Marni and Steve have 4 sons together.

Eleven years ago, Steve Phillips had an encounter with Rosa Rodriguez. Phillips was the general manager of the Mets. Rodriguez was working for the Mets. Ms Rodriguez sued him for sexual harassment. Phillips settled the case out of court with Rodriguez.
