Anna Nicole Smith allegedly asked her former boyfriend, Mark “Hollywood” Hatten, to kill her late husband, J Howard Marshall II’s son, E Pierce Marshall. Hatten claimed Smith told him that the son, E Pierce Marshall, was hindering her in getting her deceased husband’s money.

Hatten warned Pierce Marshall’s lawyer about Smith’s request. Hatten said he was interviewed by the FBI. Hatten was once jailed for a crime unrelated to this matter and he was questioned by the FBI. The FBI eventually decided there was insufficient evidence that Smith hatched the murder plot.
