Marilyn French, 79, a feminist writer, has died. French died on May 2. French’s cause of death was due to a heart ailment. French was warded in a hospital in New York City and died there.

Marilyn French was best known for her book, “The Women’s Room”. French’s work was controversial. French tried to defend her work but there were always critics who disagreed with French.

Marilyn French is survived by her children Robert French and Jamie French.
