Marie-Anne Thiébaud denied about being the third party that broke up the marriage of Shania Twain and Mutt Lange. Marie-Anne’s husband, Frederic Thiebaud, remained friends with Ms Twain, despite his wife being blamed for being a home-wrecker.

Marie-Anne Thiébaud has talked about other plausible causes that drove Twain and Lange apart. Ms Thiébaud said that many factors in a marriage could have played some roles in the eventual breakup. Apart from general discussions, Ms Thiébaud had refused to be specific on her alleged role in the complex triangle of controversy with the parties involved.
