There is no such thing as a hate crime. That is just another tool in the bag of the politically correct liberal leftists used to fling or label people who disagree with their ideology. Think if you are able: if a white person kills a black, gay, or 'other' person, it's a 'hate crime' so-called today. But don't you see that ANY person who kills any other person is still a 'hate crime?' In fact, it's just a CRIME either way. The "protected status" of certain groups was created to make the definition of hate crime stand. It's unfair to others who are assaulted, mocked, or killed as it lifts some groups of people over others. America is supposed to have equal justice under the law and the protected class for purposes of hate crime is a law that does not support equal justice. Dennis, you idiot.
