A man stole a SUV from a woman and killed her. This took place outside LA. On Saturday, August 16, when police spotted this vehicle, they gave chase.

The SUV crashed in Rosemead and the man was found in the burning wreckage, dead. He had shot himself fatally. Police did not know if he shot himself before or after the crash. His body was badly burnt and could not be identified immediately. Police estimated he was about 50 years old.
