Nov 21 2010 – Malin Akerman is Lindsay Lohan’s replacement in “Inferno”. Akerman, sometimes spelled as Ackerman, is better known for her roles in “Watchmen” and “The Heartbreak Kid”.
Matthew Wilder, the director of Inferno, the biopic on Linda Lovelace, has chosen Akerman. Wilder had waited for Lindsay Lohan for about 1 year as she underwent legal troubles, imprisonment and rehab for her problems. While Lohan’s camp said she quit the role, others have said she was fired.
Malin Akerman has a high profile now that she is acting with Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd in “Wanderlust”, being shot in location in New York.
Akerman has acted in a wide repertoire of movies. She was popular in “Couples Retreat”, a comedy starring with Vince Vaughn.
