Maksim Chmerkovskiy has back tracked his remarks about his fellow dancers in Dancing with the Stars. Chmerkovskiy told People magazine that his comments were taken out of context. Chmerkovskiy, 28, would like to clarify that he never criticized Cheryl Burke and Lacey Schwimmer.

Chmerkovskiy said he was concerned about how excess weight took its toll on the body. Chmerkovskiy has reached out to Cheryl Burke and Lacey Schwimmer. He said he was fine with them.
