Madonna wants to portray Wallis Simpson, the wife of England’s former King Edward VIII. Edward VIII abdicated his throne to marry Wallis Simpson.

Wallis Simpson was born in 19 June 1895 or 1896. Simpson/ Duchess of Windsor ( passed away on 24 April 1986.

Prince Edward, Duke of Windsor, died in 1972.

Nichola McAuliffe acted as Wallis Simpson in the stage production named “Untitled”. The play started at the Finborough Theatre, in London. The play runs until March 14.
