Macrida Patterson’s lawyer told The Smoking Gun that a “design problem” caused a decorative metallic piece on the thong to fly up. The piece hit Macrida Patterson’s eye while she was wearing the thong. Macrida Patterson’s product liability lawsuit was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court last week. Officials from Victoria’s Secret had asked to see the offending thong but were refused by Macrida Patterson’s lawyer.
