Mack Ray Edwards, a famous serial killer, surrendered himself to police in 1970. Mack Ray Edwards confessed to killing 6 children. Three bodies were recovered. Mack Ray Edwards was convicted and sentenced to death. Edwards committed suicide by hanging himself while in jail, in 1971. Edwards told a cell mate he killed 18-20 victims. Since he committed suicide, Edwards took his secrets to his grave. Police could not recover the remains of other victims.

Weston DeWalt, a writer, has been researching the case of Mack Edwards. Weston DeWalt and L.A. police detective, Vivian Flores, are leading an excavation at a possible site where a victim of Mack Ray Edwards, Roger Madison, may be buried. There is a live webcam here.
