Lyfe Jennings tried to outrun the police and he got arrested on Sun., Oct. 19. Lyfe Jennings, a R&B singer, was arrested after a high speed chase in Smyrna, Georgia.

Police were at a scene responding to a complaint about gun shots when they saw Lyfe Jenning’s Corvette speeding away. Police gave chase and Jennings crashed his sportscar. Lyfe Jennings, whose real name is Chester Jennings, refused to take the sobriety test. Lyfe Jennings was charged with attempting to elude police, discharging a firearm near a public highway and refusing to take a sobriety test. Jennings had been jailed for 10 years in the 1990s – 2002. Jennings recorded 4 songs in 2 days after his release in 2002.
