Maria Contreras-Luciano, 22; Amber Crespo, 20; and Dyanne Velasquez, 21, were arrested and charged for a kidnapping, assault and conspiracy plot. Luciano, Crespo and Velasquez deceived a former friend, took her for a ride and dumped her in the woods in freezing 8 degree temperature.

The victim only had a dress and one shoe. The victim, 19, suffered frostbite and needs surgery but her foot is saved from amputation.

Luciano, Crespo and Velasquez planned to exact revenge, retaliate and threaten against the victim, who had sued an insurance company that belong to one of the women. Crespo allegedly said to the victim that she would kill her if she was getting sued.

Police refused to identify the victim. A passing motorist saw the woman and gave her a lift to the hospital. The Victim did not report the offence for 4 days.
