Three people died in a Louisiana plane crash. A small, light plane crashed into the woods in eastern Louisiana. The plane crashed slightly before midnight Friday, Feb 27. The plane went down in the woods west of Independence, Louisiana.

The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office said the cause of the plane crash was not clear. Perry Rushing, of the Sheriff’s Office, said weather was not a factor. Rushing said the plane was flying in from Slidell, and heading towards an unknown location.
