Lorraine Henderson, the regional director of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection, was arrested on Friday, Dec. 5, in Salem. Lorraine Henderson has to appear in court in Boston to face her charge of harboring an illegal alien.

Henderson has been accused of hiring illegal aliens to clean her home. Henderson was suspected of telling an illegal alien not to leave the US because of the difficulty of re-entering the US.

In 2004, Henderson had recommended her illegal housekeeper to another fellow agent. This agent then warned Henderson it was illegal to hire illegal aliens. In 2006, when this officer learned that Henderson was still using the illegal alien, Henderson was reported to her supervisor. A Customs agent met the housekeeper and asked her to wear a wire and record calls to Lorraine Henderson.
