Years later, she discovered that Delimar was alive in Willingboro. Delimar lived under a false name given to her by Carolyn Correa.
Carolyn Correa’s cheating ruse became undone after Luz Cuevas, attended a family birthday party, and saw a girl who resembled her daughter Delimar. Luz Cuevas spoke privately to the girl and lied to her that she had chewing gum in her hair. Luz Cuevas cut off a lock of hair that tested positive for a DNA match.
Carolyn Correa who charged with kidnapping and other related charges. She was sentenced to 9 – 30 years in prison in September 2005. Carolyn Correa serves time in Pennsylvania.
A TV movie was made and named “Little Girl Lost: The Delimar Vera Story.”
