Lisa Reardon, of Ann Arbor, has been arrested. Reardon allegedly tried to kill her father with a shotgun. Reardon may have been driven to commit murder because of a family quarrel which gave her a nervous breakdown.

On August 21, Lisa Reardon tried to murder her father. Reardon, a novelist, had packed up her luggage and car trunk with books to read.

Lisa Reardon, 47, shot and injured her father George Hicks, 68. Hicks fled inside his home and locked the door. Reardon chased after him but failed to break down the door.

Lisa Reardon is a mystery. Only her innermost circle know that her books are about her experiences with child abuse, adultery, domestic abuse, alcoholism and depression. However, Reardon said her books are not autobiographical.
