Updated July 1 2009 – Lisa Lavoie and the boy were found 1 week later in a motel. Lisa Lavoie pleaded not guilty to charges that she had sex with a minor. Lisa Lavoie was charged with three counts of aggravated rape and abuse and three counts of statutory rape.

Lisa Lavoie was fired from her job. Lisa Lavoie posted her $25 000 bail.

Feb 23 2009.

Lisa Lavoie, 22, of Massachusetts, is a teacher at Maurice Donahue Elementary School in Holyoke. Lavoie has gone missing. Lavoie’s parents have filed a missing persons report at the police station on Feb 21.

A male student, 15, is missing from the same school. His parents have filed a missing persons report on Feb 16. The male teen’s mother contacted Donahue Elementary School on Feb 13 to voice concern over her son’s relationship with Lavoie. Lavoie is a first new teacher. A student said the boy was the class president and he spent a great deal of time with Lavoie.

There are suspicions that Lavoie may have run off together with the male teen but there was no evidence to indicate this.
