Lindsay Lohan’s paternal grandfather, Richard Lohan, died

Lindsay Lohan’s paternal grandfather, Richard Lohan, 73, died on Thursday, August 28, 2008.

Richard Lohan is the father of Michael Lohan, Lindsay Lohan’s father. Richard Lohan had cancer. Michael Lohan said he wanted to protect his father, Richard Lohan from certain events in the family because he was ill with cancer.

Richard lohan died after his fight with cancer. Richard Lohan suffered from cancer of the colon. Michael Lohan said that his father, Richard Lohan’s health was failing and he did not feel it was right to make a public celebration out of the announcement that he was engaged to Erin Muller.

Michael Lohan revealed in March 2008 that Richard Lohan’s colon cancer had spread to his lungs. Lindsay Lohan was rumored to have visited her grandfather, Richard Lohan, over the Easter holiday. Richard Lohan was hospitalized in Long Island, New York.

Michael Lohan was noted by the watchdog media as grabbing this opportunity to hit out again at his ex-wife Dina Lohan. Michael Lohan often accused Dina Lohan having two sides to the coin; one side fretting about Lindsay whenever she was spending time with her Daddy and the other side of the coin praising Lindsay on everything she did, inclusive of her relationship with her Daddy.
Michael Lohan sadly related how Richard Lohan died in is arms. He has informed all his children and his lawyer informed Dina Lohan’s lawyer. Michael noted that they had not responded yet with a telephone call. Michael Lohan rubbed in with an observation that Dina had not sent a card or visited Richard Lohan, her ex father-in-law.

Dina Lohan has not responded to this recent mudslinging about the death of Richard Lohan. On Wednesday, just one day before Richard Lohan died, Lindsay blogged about her father. Lindsay Lohan expressed her opinion that her Dad should stay out of her life. Samantha Ronson, also contributed a criticism of her own by saying that Michael Lohan was desperate for attention and he went to the media often.
