Steven Soderbergh will direct a biopic on Liberace, who died in 1987 of complications from AIDS. Warner Bros. had Richard LaGravanese write the script for the film Liberace.

Michael Douglas will get the role of Liberace. Matt Damon might agree to play Scott Thorson. Scott Thorson was the man who sued Liberace for $113 million palimony. Thorson claimed he was Liberace’s companion for five years.
