Women who wear lingerie, helmets, shoulder, elbow and knee pads play full contact football. Some lingerie football league photos are here. Next year, 10 teams will compete in the LFL, Lingerie Football League. The Atlanta Steam, Chicago Bliss, Miami Caliente, New England Euphoria and the Tampa Breeze will compete in the Eastern Conference.

The Dallas Desire, Los Angeles Temptation, Phoenix Scorch, San Diego Seduction and the Seattle Mist will fight in the Western Conference. One winner team from the Eastern Conference will play the showdown match against the winner team from the Western Conference. The winning team gains the Lingerie Bowl trophy.

Lingerie Football had its origins in the halftime of Super Bowl XXXVIII (38) in 2004. That year, Team Dream played against Tteam Euphoria. Team Dream won 6-0. Some of the more famous lingerie footballers included Christy Hemme, ex WWE wrestling valet, Katie Lohmann, Playboy model, and Willa Ford, pop singer.
