Leta Lynn Cordes went missing on Jan 11 2008. Cordes and her husband were in Saint Martin, or Sint Maarten, when she disappeared. Cordes’ husband, Frank Cordes, said his wife walked from their vacation home to Westin Hotel.

This journey on foot was only half a mile but Leta Cordes disappeared after leaving home. Westin Hotel’s surveillance tapes showed that Leta Cordes was absent from its premises that night on Jan 11, 2008.

At the time of her disappearance, Mrs Cordes was dressed in a blouse, denim shorts, black sandals, her driver’s license and about $200 cash.
