Kathleen Garza, 49, of Coppell, Texas, has been missing since Thursday, April 16. Leroy Tellgren, of Carrollton,75, has been arrested on charges of murder. Tellgren was arrested on Monday, April 20.

Kathleen Garza’s husband, Raul Garza, said his wife had a coffee date with Tellgren on Thursday, April 16. Tellgren has been jailed on a $1 million bail. Mrs Garza had worked with Mr Tellgren for 5 years and saw him as a friend and father figure. Garza and Tellgren worked in a school.

Police have appealed for the public’s help to provide tips on the whereabouts of Tellgren on April 16. Tellgren drove a dark green 1997 Chevy S-10. It is an extended cab pickup truck, with plate number 46X WC5.

Police hope that by tracing the routes Tellgren used, they may get clues to locate Kathleen Garza’s body. Police have not disclosed why they had reason to believe Garza was murdered.
