Leon Patton, 20, was arrested on Thursday, Sept. 18. Leon Patton was accused of the child abuse on July 15. Leon Patton was jailed pending a $30,000 bond. The baby is now 4 months old. The police arrest warrant claimed Leon Patton shook the baby feloniously and intentionally.

Leon Patton was suspended from Kansas State because he had outstanding warrants from 2007. Leon Patton was accused of stealing 2 video games from Walmart. Patton had an unpaid parking ticket. Leon Patton pleaded no contest to the charges and was sentenced to 6 months probation and fined $100. Leon Patton is under police investigation now.

There was some speculation on the baby’s parents. The baby’s mother is a friend of Patton’s.
