LeGarrette Blount, the senior RB for Oregons’ Ducks in the game against Boise State, displayed poor sportsmanship on Thursday, September 3. Blount punched his opponent, Byron Hout, then continued his assaults on his own team member and the opponent team’s fans seated on the stands. Hout was helped up by his team mates. Hout did not appear to be badly injured.

The Oregon Ducks lost 19 – 8 to Boise State.

LeGarrette Blount has been known for his transgressions as he was suspended once this year. The Pac-10 committee is reviewing this incident before deciding how to handle LeGarrette Blount.

The latest news said the University of Oregon has suspended Blount for the remainder of the season in 2009.
