Leah King died after taking Xanax and Oxymorphone.

Pvt. Timothy E Bennitt, 19, a soldier at Fort Lewis, was charged with wrongful use and distribution of controlled substances, and conspiracy to use controlled substances. Bennitt is suspected of dealing in drugs last autumn of 2008 and earlier in 2009. If Bennitt is convicted, he will face a maximum of 82 years in prison.

Leah King (photo below) was found dead in Fort Lewis, an Army post. Leah King, 16, was a sophomore in Lakes High School. King’s friends were shocked to learn of her death on Sunday, Feb 15.

Leah King was remembered as a trusting friend who was fun to hang out with. King’s family had few details about her death and were unable to share. Leah King’s friend and family gossiped that she died form a drug overdose.

Leah King had dated a soldier stationed at Fort Lewis. King had met him on Sat, Valentine’s Day, Feb 14. He was questioned by the authorities. Another teen, 16, was also found unconscious with King at 3:30 am Sunday, Feb 15. This girl is recovering in hospital.  Her name was not released.
