Updated August 12 2009 – Lawrence Phillips was convicted of assaulting his girlfriend, inflicting injury, false imprisonment, making criminal threats and stealing a car. Phillips will be sentenced on September 8, 2009. Phillips allegedly choked his girlfriend on August 2, 2005 and August 13, 2005.

Lawrence Phillips, ex football star, was sentenced to 10 years jail on Friday, Oct. 3. Lawrence Phillips was convicted of assault using a dangerous weapon. This sentencing was long delayed because Lawrence Phillips had another domestic abuse case, in which he fought to withdraw his guilty plea.

Lawrence Phillips was sentenced for his 2006 conviction. Phillips was found guilty of 7 counts of assault with a weapon. Phillips, ex Nebraska running back, has been jailed since August 2005. Phillips drove his car into three people aged 14, 15 and 19. Phillips was upset over his loss of a game with the youths.

    Media spoke with Lawrence’s attorney but refused to print anything she said-rather they deceived by saying she did not return telephone calls!

    Ever notice how none of the alleged victims are quoted? Flores stated that his “leg was hurt in the ACCIDENT”.

    The hype comes from the media, the prosecutor, the judge, law enforcement–those who care nothing about alleged victims other than to use them to benefit their own self-serving agenda!!!
