Lawrence “Larry” King died on February 12 2008. King was a gay student who was fatally shot by Brandon McInerney.

Larry King died when McInerney, then 14, shot him at the back of his head twice, in school in Oxnard. McInerney wanted to get others to beat up King but failed to get a group. That was when he decided to shoot King. McInerney was charged in an adult court.
