Lawanda Jackson, who was charged with selling the medical records of Britney Spears and Farrah Fawcett to the tabloids, has died. Jackson’s lawyer informed the judge that Lawanda Jackson died on March 24.

Lawanda Jackson had breast cancer and died of her illness. Jackson had pleaded guilty in December 2008 to the charge of violating the federal medical privacy law. Jackson had worked 32 years for the hospital.

Jackson was due to be sentenced on Monday.
