Laura Stainforth & Robert Williams: Help Find Stainforth Williams (photos)

Laura Stainforth, of Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire, disappeared from home last Wed., Jan 14. Stainforth is 15. Stainforth told her parents she was going out shopping but never returned. Stainforth was seen on CCTV surveillance videos at Grimsby railway station. Stainforth was with a man, Robert Williams, 49.

Williams used an alias, Dave Ingram. Williams/ Ingram used Facebook, a social networking site, to befriend girls. Williams/ Ingram had been communicating with Stainforth the past 6 months. Police think he groomed her before arranging for their meeting.

Facebook users have set up a group called “Help Find Laura Stainforth.” Police have appealed for information on Stainforth and Robert Williams.

Stainforth was last seen in Dover. Police suspect she has been brought out of the country. Stainforth’s parents are extremely worried for her. So are her relatives. Some of them reached out to Laura Stainforth. They appealed for a message to indicate she is safe.

    Now that Stainforth and Willims have been found her parents should be questioned as to why they didn’t monitor what she was doing on her computer. There have been countless warnings about children contacting adults on line and the importance of supervising them.
