Latasha Pulliam was charged with the sexual assault and murder of Shenosha Richards, 6 years old. Pulliam allegedly committed the act in 1991.

Pulliam’s IQ was tested and found to be 69.42. There was a complicated case with arguments that claimed mentally retarded persons should not be sentenced to death.
