Lars Brosdahl & Shelly Brosdahl’s son got methamphetamine for Halloween
By Clarencia Cynrae on November 4th, 2008Lars Brosdahl and Shelly Brosdahl had 2 children who went out on Halloween trick-or-treating, in Ramsey, Minn. When the kids returned home, the Brosdahls found crystals (methamphetamine) and $85 cash in their 7 year old son’s candy bag.
Shelly and Lars Brosdahl reported this to the police, who have confirmed that the crystals were methamphetamine. The meth had a street value of about $200. The Brosdahl boy said a bigger boy ran past him and asked if he wanted some candy and dropped the stuff into his bag.
The Brosdahl parents freaked out and were glad they checked the Halloween candy bag before their son tucked into the “candy”.
Police said they think a fleeing suspect of an assault case in the area may have dropped the drug and cash while escaping the police.
