Larry Munson, 85, has been with Georgia radio for 43 years. Munson had prepared a press release statement to thank Georgia football fans. He wished Georgia Bulldogs good luck.

Larry Munson will celebrate his 86th birthday on Sunday, Sept. 28. Munson had surgery to remove blood clots in April 4. The summer saw Munson at a rehabilitation center in Atlanta. Many have joined voices to wish Larry Munson a happy fall and retirement. Scott Howard and Eric Zeier were announced as the hosts to takeover the slots formally worked by Larry Munson.
