Larry King, 15, of Oxnard, attended E.O. Green Junior High School. Larry King was shot and killed by Brandon McInerney, a classmate. Brandon McInerney has been charged with killing and committing a hate crime.

Larry King’s family blames the School district for failing to enforce the dress code when Larry King wore makeup and feminine clothing to school. Larry King’s parents, Dawn King and Gregory King, said the school knew about Larry’s vulnerabilities because of his sexual orientation. Larry King was award of the court. He lived in a shelter for neglected, abused and emotionally unfit children when he was shot and killed.
