November 17 2009 – Larry Johnson is rumored to be signing with the Cincinnati Bengals. However, the local gay rights group in Cincinnati has voiced objections. Equality Cincinnati said the Bengals should not make the decision. EC wants the CB to support equality and LBGT.

Larry Johnson has been without a football team since being fired by the Kansas City Chiefs.

Larry Johnson, of Kansas City Chiefs, started his downward spiral by commenting negatively on Todd Haley, a football coach. Johnson had another controversy when he told reporters to stay away from him and called them a homophobic term (f******). Johnson also used the f word in his twitter entry.

Johnson has apologized but The Chiefs have banned Johnson from football practice and team activities.

In 2008, Johnson was sentenced to 2 years probation after he was convicted on disturbing the peace in public areas.
