Lane Kiffin, head coach at the University of Tennessee, made a controversial recruitment of Daniel Hood. Daniel was convicted of the crime of raping his cousin, 14 years old, when he was 13 years old. Hood allegedly committed the rape together with his friend who was 17 at that time.

Lane Kiffin made a statement on his choice. Kiffin said he had thought hard about it and believed Daniel Hood deserved a chance.
